- What is GES?
GES is a NGO (Non Governmental Organization) based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We empower marginalized children and youth through sports by training local sports teachers. The key is to integrate values in the sports training which positively builds the character of the target group.
- Where does GES work?
GES has been working in Afghanistan since 2004 and in Jordan since 2010. In addition, GES hosts conferences, workshops and seminars in Denmark on a regular basis.

- How is GES financed?
GES has been financed by The Project Advice and Training Centre (Projektrådgivningen) and Danish Centre for Culture and Development (Center for Kultur og Udvikling).
- Who is responsible for GES?
GES has a volunteer board consisting of around 7 board members and 2 substitutes. The board is overall responsible for all activities within GES. Working groups (consisting of board members and other GES volunteers) has the day-to-day responsibility of certain areas.
