The persuasion of GES is that education through sport can be essential tools to exploit in development work. Education through sport can trigger many of the values which are crucial for human beings to master when rebuilding and developing civil societies recovering from war.

These values could be cooperation, self-confidence, respect, tolerance, community spirit. Integrated themes will often entail human rights, organizing, networking, mental and physical health, etc.

In GES we believe that, when used properly, sport has a great potential as a tool for incorporating values and education.
